Students of Media Studies have been selected in All India Radio of Allahabad as Casual Comparer

Conquering the territory of creativity six students of Media Studies have been selected in All India Radio of Allahabad as Casual Comparer. The selected students Continuing with their academic curriculum would full fill the assigned duties of the given assignment by All India Radio. The selected students of BA in Media Studies of sixth semester are Anand Srivastava, Ankur Bajpai, Atma Prakash Tripathi, Medhansh Anmol and Shivani Shukla, as well as Asmita Singh from fourth semester of BA in Media Studies. Director, Institute of Professional Studies Professor Neelam Yadav, and Course Coordinator of Centre of Media Studies, Dr. Dhananjai Chopra congratulated the selected students.

Amit Srivastava, MVoc 3rd Semester, Sonal Mishra and Vinay Yadav, both from BVoc 5th Semester from Center of Media studies, managed to bag the prize for their creative movie,"Dustbin ka Dard". (pain of a dustbin) during fortnight-long cleanliness drive,"Swachchta Pakhwada", by Allahabad University.

Mohd. Shahrukh Siddiqui, student of M. Voc Media Studies III Semester has been considered as "Special Mention" in the International Online Photo contest

Training programme on Bakery Science & Technology at AIBTM, Noida complted by students of B. Voc Food Processing & Technology IV Semester.

Mr Arvind Kumar Jaiswal has been selected as Scientist through ASRB (Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board) ICAR

Mr Arvind Kumar Jaiswal student of 2007-2009 batch of M.Sc. Food Technology, IPS, AU has been selected as Scientist through ASRB (Agricultural Scientist Recruitment Board), ICAR. Presently he is posted at CIPHET (Central Institute of Post Harvest Engineering and Technology), Ludhiana.

Honesty Award to Ms. Ankita Banerjee by Honesty Foundation at Indore

Ankita Banerjee, a student of BAMS, 3rd Year has been felicitated in Indore for her acts of Honesty. She has been an active member of Universal Solidarity Movement from her school days for the last 7 years. Universal Solidarity Movement aims to create a future free from terrorism, fundamentalism, injustice, hypocrisy and disintegration of the country where the youth will be taking charge of the nation and build a civilization of love. Ankita has been working as a moral leader, convenor and panellist. She has also addressed students, parents, brothers, nurses and others at various seminars and public gatherings in Allahabad and Indore to enlighten minds and inspire them to build a better nation. For her sincere service and responsible acts she has received the Honesty Award by Honesty Foundation at Indore (headquarters of USM) which consists of Rs. 10,000 and citation. CMS is proud of her and wishes her success and happiness in all her endeavours of life.
